Arvostelu
In the exam, marks are awarded according to these criteria:
- Readability and quality of language (luettavuus ja kielenkäyttö)
- Vocabulary (ilmaisuvarasto)
- Dealing with the subject / Task completion (aiheen käsittely)
- Accuracy of language (kielelliset puutteet)
Arvostelussa otetaan huomioon seuraavat asiat:

- Sisältö ja tekstilaji vastaavat hyvin otsikkoa.
- Aihetta käsitellään monipuolisesti ja omintakeisesti.
- Rakenne on selkeä ja looginen ja tekee näin tekstistä helppolukuisen.
- Kieli on rikasta, vaihtelevaa sekä idiomaattista, ja tyyli on aiheeseen sopiva.

- Sisältö ja tekstilaji vastaavat puutteellisesti tehtävänantoa.
- Otsikkoa on muutettu omavaltaisesti.
- Aihetta käsitellään pinnallisesti tai samaa asiaa toistaen.
- Rakenne on puutteellinen ja epäjohdonmukainen, mikä vaikeuttaa lukemista.
- Kieli on yksipuolista, virheellistä ja epäaidon tuntuista.

When writing essays for the exam, you should ask yourself the following questions:
- Structure: does the essay have a clear introduction and conclusion?
- Coherence: do your ideas develop well in the text? Are the sentences linked together well?
- Quality of ideas, originality: do you have anything new and interesting to say?
- Language: is the language authentic and accurate, and does it contain a suitable range of vocabulary?
- Communication: is the text easy to understand? How well have you expressed your ideas?
